CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY OF MACEDONIA OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED AS A RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION

On April 20, 2017, the Church of Scientology of Macedonia was officially recognized as a religious organization. The Primary Court Skopje II ruled that all legal prerequisites were met according to the law on the legal status of churches, religious communities and religious groups of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia.

“From the thorough review of the evidence, the Court determined that the founders and the person authorized to represent the voluntary association of physical entities have legal citizenship status and that those persons fully meet the prerequisites prescribed with Articles 11 and 12 of the law on the legal status of churches, religious communities and religious groups to be registered in the Unique Court Register of Churches, Congregations and Religious Groups as a church, under the title: Church of Scientology of Macedonia.” Primary Court Skopje II, Macedonia
